Intel raised the netbook screen size limit
Netbooks in the near future will have larger screens like 11.6 inches or 12.1 inches.
Intel is planning to lift a ban on the use of screens larger than 10.1 inches of netbooks running Atom processors with the release of the latest N550 dual-core Atom chip.

According to DigiTimes, the removal of this limit will be implemented immediately after the Atom N550 processor chip released in the second half of this year.
With Intel's move, manufacturers will no longer be "constrained" in a screen size that is too small to launch models with larger screens like 11.6 inches or 12.1 inches. . These netbooks also incorporate faster DDR3 RAM memory with a capacity of 1GB, a 250GB hard drive or a 32GB SSD.
This is considered the right step for Intel because previous netbooks are often complained by customers because the screen is too small and difficult to use especially with the interface of the Windows operating system.
Last year, Dell unveiled the Mini 12 netbook, a 12.1-inch model, using 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z520 Silverthorne processor.
