Like Google, Bing is also a popular search engine, although users often prefer Google over Bing or other search engines when browsing the web. If your Firefox browser accidentally switches from Google search to Bing search, follow the steps below to remove Bing from Firefox.
Remove Bing from Firefox via search engine.
If Bing is set as the default search engine in your Firefox browser, you can simply change it to Google or another search engine.
Step 1:
Open the Firefox browser and type about:preferences#search into the search bar.
Step 2:
Click on the Bing search engine and select Google or any other search engine.
Remove Bing homepage from Firefox
If your Firefox browser has a Bing homepage, delete it and set Firefox as the default homepage.
In the Firefox browser, type about:preferences#home into the address bar and press Enter to access the site.
Next, in the Home and new window , select Firefox Home (Default) .
Remove Bing add-ons
Additionally, there is a separate add-on for the Bing search engine, which can be installed as an extension to use Bing within Firefox.
Type about:addons in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. Then, you should be able to uninstall the Microsoft Bing Search Engine add-on for your browser.
Restore Firefox to factory settings.
Open Firefox and type about:profiles into the address bar and press Enter. Then click Restart normally .
