Instead of just reading long, dry documents, NotebookLM allows users to summarize content, identify key points, and quickly convert them into video scripts. We can customize the video style to be simple, professional, or creative, suitable for learning or teaching goals. Below is a guide on how to convert a lesson into a video.
How to convert lessons into videos on NotebookLM
Step 1:
We access the NotebookLM website and then create a new notebook. Next, you click on Upload file to upload the lesson file you want to convert into a video, which could be an image, a PDF file, etc.
Step 2:
NotebookLM will then analyze and summarize the content from the image we upload.
Looking to the side, we select the Video Content Overview tool .
Step 3:
The video setup interface for the uploaded document is displayed. You choose the type of video you want to create: an explanatory video or a summary video. Teachers should choose an explanatory video. Then, below, select the video style if desired.
Continue by entering the description of the video you want to create for the lesson content that you upload. Or leave it blank and click the Create button to proceed. You can refer to some video creation prompts below.
