How to Clean the Computer Mouse Properly

With a Mouse

Step 1 : Press the lower lid lightly and turn it counterclockwise, then remove the ball from the mouse. Wash the ball with soapy water and dry it thoroughly.

Step 2 : Next, take a cotton swab so that you can wipe the scroll bars inside the mouse. During the cleaning process, if a hard object is caught, remove a nail or sharp object to let the mouse not get stuck. Also, clean the underside of the mouse.

Step 3 : Reconnect the ball to the mouse and turn it clockwise.

With Optical Mouse

Compared to a ball mouse, optical mouse hygiene is much simpler. You just need to use a cotton swab to clean or use a spray to clean the optical eye, then wipe the underside and contact surface of the mouse is done.
