HP's mini laptop will be available in Vietnam in May
Along with the worldwide appearance, the compact model has been introduced by HP Vice President Todd Bradley in Hanoi.
With a silver-colored titanium exterior design, HP's new product is about the size of a student notebook and weighs 1.3 kg. The manufacturer claims there is no reduction in functions to reduce size or lower costs.
The 8.9-inch screen is scratch-resistant, the keyboard is about the size of a regular PC keyboard. This mini computer line will have many product ranges with prices ranging from 500 USD to about 1,000 USD, depending on configuration.
The manufacturer said it is working with the Vietnamese Government and Foxconn Group to discuss the construction of a laptop factory in northern Hanoi. If the project becomes a reality, the price of this laptop in Vietnam will be much more attractive.
