How to watch YouTube with friends using SharePlay

The SharePlay feature when using FaceTime helps users share a lot of content with others, such as sharing the screen when calling FaceTime or watching YouTube with others. Instructions for watching YouTube with friends using SharePlay

Step 1:

We do FaceTime with everyone as usual. Then click the Share icon as shown below. The SharePlay feature applies to FaceTime groups.

Next, click on the YouTube application installed on your phone at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2:

Displays the YouTube application interface. Here users search for YouTube videos they want to watch together. At the same time, the FaceTime window will be minimized at the edge of the screen.

Step 3:

The first time you watch a YouTube video with friends via SharePlay, you will be asked if you want to share the YouTube video via SharePlay. Click on SharePlay to do so.

Step 4:

Everyone will receive a notification and click Open to open the YouTube application. Next click Join SharePlay to join FaceTime and watch YouTube videos together.

 Step 5:

To stop watching YouTube videos, you need to expand the FaceTime call interface, then click the Share icon. Now click End SharePlay to stop Share Play. Finally, you choose to stop watching YouTube videos for yourself or for everyone.
