1. How to view your Facebook password on Android

1.1. View your Facebook password using Chrome Smart Lock

On the Android Chrome browser, there's a password storage feature called Chrome Smart Lock . This creates a password when you create a new account and also acts as a password management tool on your computer and phone, storing those passwords in your Google account for easy review or even password recovery when needed. Note that you must create a password for your Android phone to use this feature.

When you first log in to your Facebook app account on your Android phone, you will be prompted to save your password on Smart Lock as shown below. Tap " Save password" . This will save your Facebook app password to your personal Google account currently logged in on your phone.

Step 1:

To view your Facebook password, go to Settings on your device and select Google . On the new screen, tap Manage Google Accounts .

Step 2:

Switch to the new interface and find the Security section as shown below. Then, find the Password Manager section to view all application passwords saved through Smart Lock on your phone. You will now see the applications with saved passwords, including Facebook.

The results will show your Facebook account name and password. Click the eye icon to see your Facebook password. In this interface, you can also click the Edit button to change your Facebook password. If you no longer want to save your Facebook account on Google, simply click the Delete button.

1.2. View Facebook passwords on Chrome

Similarly, to view your Facebook password on Android, you also need to log in to Facebook on a web browser . Note that you must enable the password saving feature on your Android browser.

When accessing Facebook on Chrome or another web browser, you will be asked if you want to save your password; click Save .

To view your password, click the three vertical lines icon in Chrome , select Settings , then click Passwords . Next, click facebook.com in the Passwords section .

Finally, you can view your Facebook password by tapping the eye icon . Note that you must have your Android screen lock set up to view the password.

To view your Facebook password on a computer, you can use the password saving feature in your browser.

2.1. View Facebook passwords on Chrome

In the Chrome browser interface, click the three-dot icon and select Settings . Then click on AutoFill , and next to it, select Passwords .

Look below the Saved Passwords section to find your Facebook password. Click the eye icon and enter the password on your computer to view your Facebook password.

2.2. Viewing Facebook passwords on Firefox

With the Firefox browser, click on the three horizontal lines icon , then select Login and Password .

Then we will see all the accounts for which we have saved passwords in the browser, including Facebook. Look to the right and you will see the Passwords section; you can click the eye icon to view it. We won't have to enter the computer password to view it like on Chrome.

3. How to view your Facebook password on iPhone

Open Settings and select Passwords & Accounts . Then tap on Web & App Passwords . Your iPhone will then ask you to enter your device password .

The result will show you the Facebook account; click on it to view the password .

If you can't see your password, you need to log in to the Facebook website on Safari. Then you'll be asked if you want to save your password. Tap " Save Facebook password" to view it again on your iPhone .
