How to use the latest version of Facebook Stories

Currently, Facebook Stories is available for all accounts on both phones and computers, along with many beautiful Facebook Story effects. Below are the steps to use Facebook Stories.

Instructions on how to use Facebook Stories on your phone.

Step 1:

On the Facebook interface on your phone, tap " Add to Story" at the top of the screen. Here you'll see many content options for posting to Facebook Stories, including text stories, selfie stories, Boomerang stories, adding music to Facebook Stories , and poll stories. Choose the type of Story content you want to use.

If you just want to record a regular video, tap the camera icon, or use existing photos and videos from your album.

Step 2:

Next, record a video or take a photo on your Facebook Story. Switch to the editing interface for your newly created Facebook Story.

The editing tools are on the right side of the screen. Below them are options to customize the display mode of your Facebook Story and the option to upload videos or images for your Facebook Story.

Step 3:

Each Facebook Story editing option offers a wide variety of content for you to choose from and use as you wish.

In the Stickers section, you can insert stickers into your Facebook Story, add location tags to your Facebook Story, and include polls for your Facebook Story.

Alternatively, you can add animated images to your Facebook Story, or add icons to your Facebook Story.

Step 4:

Text input includes options for color, font style with a background frame, and text placement.

Step 5:

The drawing options for Facebook Stories allow you to choose the color and thickness of the lines, enabling you to draw whatever you like on your Facebook Story.

Step 6:

In the Effects settings , you can apply a variety of color effects, image frames, and even face filters to your Facebook Story.

Tap the speaker icon again to adjust the sound, or add your voice directly to your Facebook Story .

Finally, click the trim icon to shorten the video as you wish.

After you've finished editing your Facebook Story, click Publish to post it to Facebook. By default, Facebook Stories will remain visible for 24 hours after posting.

All Facebook Stories will be saved in your Story Archive for you to view again.

How to use Facebook Stories on PC

On computers, you can also post Facebook Stories and view Stories from other Facebook accounts.

However, when posting Facebook Stories on a computer, you don't have as many customization options as when posting on a phone. With the PC version of Facebook, users only have two posting options: images and text.

Images uploaded to Facebook Stories on PC only have options to crop and rotate, and add text to images.

Facebook Stories on PC are text-based and offer options for font style and background.

On Facebook on your computer, you can also adjust the display mode for posts by clicking the gear icon.
