How to Get Free Crowned Sword Energy and Crowned Shield Energy Using Codes in Pokémon Go

Pokémon GO is giving away a large amount of Crowned Sword Energy and Crowned Shield Energy for free via code ahead of the Pokémon Go Fest Global 2025 event.

Similar to previous energy events, codes will be released daily, as long as the Pokémon Go YouTube channel reaches at least 2,000 subscribers per day.

This energy is used to transform Zacian and Zamazenta into their powerful Crown forms, so be sure to redeem them to get a head start before the Go Fest Global event begins. The codes are listed below.

As of June 2025 (when Go Fest takes place), there are several ways to get Crowned Sword Energy and Crowned Shield Energy:

1. Use the promo codes above.
2. Raid Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta during Go Fest to receive corresponding energy.
3. Complete the Special Research branch for Pokémon Sword or Shield, which will be available starting at 10 a.m. on June 28 for Go Fest ticket holders. This will award 1,000 energy for the Legendary of your choice.

Pokémon Debut

Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta, the Warrior Pokémon, will make their Pokémon GO debut during Pokémon GO Fest 2025.

Starting from GO Fest 2025, you can use a newly discovered energy to transform Zacian into Crowned Sword form and transform Zamazenta into Crowned Shield form!

Crowned Sword Energy and Crowned Shield Energy

Crowned Sword Energy and Crowned Shield Energy are very rare energy sources that can transform Zacian and Zamazenta into more powerful forms.

Trainers can get early access to Crowned Sword Energy or Crowned Shield Energy through the Special Research branch at the live Pokémon GO Fest events in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris.

Starting with Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global, Trainers will be able to earn Crowned Sword Energy or Crowned Shield Energy by defeating Crowned Sword Zacian or Crowned Shield Zamazenta in Raid Battles, or by completing Special Research tasks.

Change Pokémon form

With enough Crowned Sword Energy, a Zacian that knows Charged Attack Iron Head can be transformed into Crowned Sword Zacian. With enough Crowned Shield Energy, a Zamazenta that knows Charged Attack Iron Head can be transformed into Crowned Shield Zamazenta.

1. Trainers can transform Hero of Many Battles Zacian for 1,000 Crowned Sword Energy as long as it knows Charged Attack Iron Head.
2. Trainers can transform Hero of Many Battles Zamazenta for 1,000 Crowned Shield Energy as long as it knows Charged Attack Iron Head.

Note : Once a trainer changes Zacian or Zamazenta's form once, they can change that form as many times as they want without using energy.

While in Crowned Sword or Crowned Shield form, Zacian and Zamazenta cannot be traded or transferred to Pokémon HOME.

Crowned Sword Zacian

When Zacian becomes Crowned Sword Zacian, its Charged Attack Iron Head will change to Behemoth's Charged Attack Iron Head.

Crowned Shield Zamazenta

When Zamazenta becomes Crowned Shield Zamazenta, its Charged Attack Iron Head will change to Behemoth's Charged Attack Iron Head.

Unleash the Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta in Max Battles!

In addition to learning signature moves, Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta will have the exclusive ability to participate in Max Battles despite not being able to Dynamax or Gigantamax!

Trainers can use these Pokémon in Max Battles with their powerful signature attacks to take on Max Pokémon in Pokémon GO in a whole new way.

Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta will be able to upgrade Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash to deal more damage in Max Battles - just like other Max Attacks.
