How to Connect the PS4 Controller to a Phone

This practical guide walks through how to connect the PS4 controller to a phone, explains the main requirements, and highlights common issues that may appear along the way.

1. Connect the PS4 controller (dualshock 4) on Android

Step 1: You press and hold the PS (1) and Share (2) buttons on the dualshock 4 handle until the led light flashes to turn on Bluetooth connection mode.

Step 2: Go to settings, select Bluetooth (1) => Turn on bluetooth and select Wireless Controller device (2).
