Cloud Print will be the next feature to be killed by Google. After a decade of testing, Google announced that Cloud Print will no longer be supported on platforms after December 31, 2020.
This is a service that allows users to print documents from anywhere, even on the internet with supported printers via Google accounts. When done, the print job is saved to the queue in the account and sent to the connected printer. You can always enable Cloud Print in Google Chrome easily.
Cloud Print was once important to Google because Chromebooks don't support native printing, so Cloud Print is needed. However, after this feature was added to Chrome OS, Cloud Print was no longer so important, and it seems that it no longer matters to Google. The removal decision was formally made.
As an alternative to this service, Google has suggested using Chrome Enterprise with business users using Chrome OS. This is considered to be the most reasonable recommendation made.
For non-Chromebook users, the advice is to use the printing software provided by the printer manufacturer. In general, there is no useful solution. This is probably also the reason Google gave a year notice to give Cloud Print users time to find alternatives
