Electric car charger in just 5 minutes with new battery invention

A startup from Israel invented a battery that helps charge electric cars in just 5 minutes.

StoreDot is an Israeli start-up that has created a lot of battery-related products, but the products they brand at CUBE Tech Fair in Berlin have recently been surprising and interesting.

The company launched the new FlashBattery technology, allowing users to charge electric cars in just 5 minutes . This type of battery is designed in the form of traditional Lithium Ion layer separators, arranging layers of nano materials and organic compounds to support super-fast charging. Below is a video showing how to charge car charging technology in just 5 minutes of StoreDot.

While everyone focuses on the distance traveled after charging, StoreDot 's FlashBattery emphasizes on charging speed. This is something very few manufacturers think about. Tesla's SuperCharge charging station also takes up to 75 minutes to charge from the moment the electricity is empty until the tank is full.

In a statement, Dr. Doron Myersdorf, co-founder and CEO of StoreDot, said: " Fast charging is an important factor left to help electrical devices become more popular ."

"Current battery technology requires a long time of charging, which makes electric vehicles not yet well received by the public. We are working with strategic partners to accelerate production in Asia and reach. mass production level as fast as possible ".

StoreDot also promises that FlashBattery will be safer than the batteries currently used in electric cars, because they are not easily flammable and have a higher combustion temperature. If so, this is a very good news. In 2013, Tesla was shocked by the news that some Model S cars caught fire, causing the company's stock price to drop sharply and forcing CEO Elon Musk to send letters to apologize to the public.

StoreDot called $ 66 after more than four rounds of capital calls, currently researching their use of mobile technology. The company expects the product to be launched in the next 3 years.
