Specifically, this machine will have three operating system choices. Version 1001HA XP runs Windows XP, LX uses Linux and a version does not have any operating system installed.
The basic configuration of 1001HA is nothing to change, still 10.1 inch screen (1024 x 600 pixels), 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD and hard drive 3 cell Li-ion battery (2,200 mAh).
However, the exterior of the machine is drawn with some small block motifs interlacing, making the machine look like it is made of carbon fiber, not plastic like the "smooth shirt" before.
According to Notebookcheck website, the XP Eee PC 1001HA will be the most expensive, followed by the LX and the cheapest is the one that doesn't install the operating system.
