Chrome will update to read the website out loud in the background

With the new 'Read Aloud Background Playback' flag, the app continues to read content even when you minimize Chrome or use another app. Other options for read aloud mode on Chrome remain the same, adjust reading speed, choose the voice of the person who reads the content aloud, play, pause, rewind or fast forward while reading.

With this feature of reading websites aloud on Chrome in the background, it will definitely be useful for users when they can do different things on the phone.

There is currently no exact information on when Google will provide the background read-aloud feature in the stable version of Chrome for Android. However, according to Chrome's history of deploying new features, users will probably be able to experience it in the next few months.
