A study published in the journal JAMANeurology showed that people with blood type AB were 82% more likely to have problems with thinking and memory than people with other blood types.

According to this study, people with blood type AB, blood often clots, affecting blood circulation. The higher the concentration, the more severe the blood circulation condition. This long-term condition increases the risk of Alzheimer's disease, commonly known as senile dementia, compared with people with other blood types.

The study also found that the blood group with the least risk of brain diseases is the O blood group. The more gray matter in the brain, the stronger the neural connections, the better the memory. People with blood type O have more gray matter near the cerebellum, so they have a low risk of Alzheimer's disease.
