Asus will launch Eee PC widescreen later this year
Asus said it will launch a 12-inch ultra-thin laptop designed to resemble the S101 10.2-inch high-end Eee PC model later this year.

Asus notebook line will have similar design S101, but its new laptop model will be in the ZX series. This is a high-end line of computers, different from the low-cost Eee PC available in the market. The features of the ZX series will be similar to the Eee PC but have a bigger screen.
The 12-inch models have a 16:10 resolution ratio, ZX is available on the market later this year, priced at more than $ 900.
The ZX series will be a new line of laptops, not netbooks. Asus Chairman Jerry Shen defines that all devices larger than 10 inches are not netbooks.
