ASUS N20A, cheap ultraportable laptop

ASUS has introduced the ultra-portable N20A mini laptop with Intel Centrino 2 technology platform but it has a very affordable price (999USD).

The N20A is compact in size with a 12-inch screen, 1280x800 resolution and is equipped with a 6-cell battery that allows users to work continuously for 12 hours without charging. With its compact size and long battery life, the product will be the choice for business people as well as those who have to travel.

Not only that, the N20A also has a relatively strong configuration with Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo processor with 2GHZ clock speed - 2.8GHz, up to 4GB RAM, with two options for hard drive capacity 160Gb or 320GB, built-in DVD recorder and pre-installed Windows Vista operating system.

It features a 1.3MP webcam, GMA 4500MHD graphics function, 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth support, Gigabit LAN port, expansion slots (ExpressCard), 3 USB ports, a head 8-in-1 card reader, external high-speed SATA communication port and HDMI high-definition video output.

However, the company has not disclosed the price or the time of launching the product to the market, but expects the N20A-A1 with the parameters such as 2GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM and 250GB hard drive price 999USD.
