1. Origin of Vietnamese Family Day June 28

According to Uncle on June 28, 2000, the Party Central Committee's Secretariat issued Directive No. 55-CT / TW on strengthening the leadership of Party committees at the grassroots level in the protection and care work. and educating children.

On May 4, 2001, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 72/2001 / QD-TTg on Vietnamese Family Day. The decision clearly states: taking June 28 every year is a Vietnamese Family Day, in order to promote the responsibility of leaders of branches, levels, unions and social organizations and all families that regularly care. building a prosperous, equal, progressive and happy family, promoting the protection, care and education of children, contributing to the construction and protection of the Fatherland.

2. Meaning of Vietnamese Family Day

Through thousands of years of development history until now, the standards of good value of families, national cultural identity are always preserved and developed so that the descendants of today follow.

The values ​​of traditional history such as patriotism, love of the homeland, love for each other, faithful, curious, studious, diligent and creative in labor, indomitable, resilient to overcome all difficulties , challenges . have been preserved, cultivated and promoted by Vietnamese families throughout the history of building and maintaining the country.
