List of Xiaomi and Redmi laptops that will receive the Windows 11 update
Xiaomi is one of the few smartphone OEMs to successfully 'encroach' into the already extremely 'stuffy' laptop market.
The factor that creates a strong foothold for the Chinese manufacturer in the laptop market is still a familiar formula: Good configuration, reasonable price, and long-term software support.
All Xiaomi and Redmi branded laptop models sold on the market today run on the Windows 10 platform. As Microsoft is currently planning to release Windows 11 later this year, Xiaomi also officially revealed the list of eligible Mi Notebook and RedmiBooks models that will be updated to this latest version of Windows operating system.
Microsoft announced Windows 11 at the end of June, and started rolling out the Insider build just a few days later. Currently, the Redmond company is still actively releasing updates and patches to complete Windows 11, before officially releasing the stable version later this year.
However, to use Windows 11, PCs need to meet some minimum hardware configuration requirements from Microsoft. This can make many people wonder if their device is eligible to run this new version of Windows.
Below is a list of specific Mi Notebook and RedmiBooks models that are eligible and will soon receive an update to Windows 11. Please refer to it to prepare the most reasonable operating system upgrade plan.
