Windows 10 Task Manager now allows you to customize applications that use a lot of system resources

Microsoft just added a useful experimental feature called 'Eco mode' to Task Manager Windows 10 in the latest Preview build, now available to Insider users in the Dev Channel.

Specifically, starting with Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21364, users will see a new option added to the context menu of the processes in Task Manager, allowing to adjust the ability to save system resources. of a particular process, thereby helping to free up memory and CPU cycles for other active tasks.

In addition, you can also easily see which applications are running in Eco mode in the Status column of the Task Manager progress list.

To enable Eco mode for any process on your system simply follow these simple steps:

  1. Step 1. Open the Task Manager task manager.
  2. Step 2. Click the Processes tab.
  3. Step 3. Right-click on the process.
  4. Step 4. Select " Eco mode " in the context menu to apply adjustments.

The Status column in the Processes tab now shows the Eco mode for the process.
