Google also offers the only lane feature that most removable GPS devices have. But the Apple interface looks more modern than Google's and it's nice to see the number of display lanes very prominent above. This feature is especially useful when driving on multi-lane roads in the area of winter traffic.
Speed limits are always displayed in the corner of the screen.
Unless you live in San Francisco or Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, you won't see the speed limit on Google Maps. Apple doesn't say anything about limiting the speed displayed on the Maps application. When traveling on the road, it is easy to get a speed trap or don't notice, so the speed limit is always displayed, which helps many drivers avoid ticket fines.
Indicating the path to light up, you can see the whole path and choose another alternative.
Combining two types of road views on Google Maps
Google only brings two forms of maps at the present time: turn directions only (quiet or have a voice) and look at the panoramic street. But Apple is creating a hybrid that makes way easier.
Apple added hundreds of indoor maps on iOS 11. The airport map will show the location of the guard, helping to find the nearest WC, shops and restaurants.
Searching for some locations on the airport may take a long time. Indoor maps will more or less help you find your way. Google also offers indoor maps but its features are limited. Apple maps will not be available on all airports and supermarkets but will support popular locations.
The application shows which floor the product is selling for, find the product or limit the shopping destination to search by category.
