Satellite E45t, E55t and E55Dt models use a touch screen that supports up to 10 fingers at once and a resolution of 1,366x768 pixels. Users can choose either Intel or AMD chip version. In particular, Intel microprocessor model is equipped with Dragon Assistant voice control and Intel WiDi wireless slide show . The other version uses four-core AMD A6 chips and Radeon graphics cards.

In addition, Toshiba also allows users to choose one of two hard drive capacity of 500 GB or 750 GB. Its new Ultrabook supports connections like HDMI, Ethernet, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi dual-band.
