TOP skills to unlock soon in Ghostwire: Tokyo
Players will then be free to choose how and when to focus their skills.
While this freedom can be refreshing at first as players are able to tailor builds to better suit their own strengths and weaknesses, the wide variety of unlockable skill types will result easily cause feelings of overwhelm and confusion.
Ghostwire: Tokyo has a total of 68 skill types, so choosing which one to unlock first in will be quite difficult, especially in the first few chapters. In this article, let's explore the TOP list of the best early game skills in Ghostwire: Tokyo, making unlocking choices a little easier for beginners.
Spectral Vision - Range Boost (Omoigane II)
Spectral Vision is activated with a square button and is one of the most important tools in a player's arsenal.
This is because it not only allows the player to see enemies, souls, and hidden items from a great distance, but also any consumable items that can be picked up. For this reason, upgrading Spectral Vision with Omoigane II should be the first thing a player has to do, as that 10 meter increase in field of vision really makes a huge difference.
Omoigane II can be found in the Abilities skill tree and will cost the player 10 Skill Points to unlock.
Core Grab – Speed Boost (Kukurihime I)
Those looking to level up quickly in Ghostwire: Tokyo should aim to do as much Core Grab as possible. Unfortunately, however, stopping to drain an enemy's core can leave the player vulnerable to attacks from elsewhere. Kukurihime I can help quite a bit in this case, as it increases the speed at which cores are extracted by 50%.
Kukurihime I can be found in the Abilities skill tree and will cost the player 10 skill points to unlock.
Comsumables – Capacity Boost (Daikoku I)
Depending on the chosen difficulty setting and individual skill level, some players may find themselves needing to heal themselves more often.
If that's the case, investing in Daikoku I is a solid choice as it will increase the carry amount for each individual consumable from 3 to 5. Players who excel at blocking and dodging Avoiders may want to skip Daikoku I, but it's still a solid skill to have, with the potential to reduce the risk of having to leave items behind.
Daikoku I can be found in the Equipment skill tree and will cost the player 10 skill points to unlock.
Wind Charge Attack – More Shots (Shinatsuhiko I)
Bows and arrows can be useful for stealthy approaches, but being able to shoot with your bare hands will be a bit redundant, especially since arrows are so much harder to obtain than Ether.
Even so, the bow is slightly more powerful than Ethereal attacks, but at the same time much slower, which can cause the player to take unnecessary damage.
Besides, with Shinatsuhiko I, Wind Charge's attacks become much more dangerous, further reducing the usefulness of the bow.
Shinatsuhiko I can be found in the Ethereal Weaving skill tree and costs the player 20 skill points to unlock.
