Asus (Taiwan) will add the Asus UL30Vt model to use power-saving microprocessor and equipped with discrete graphics card, next to the UL30.
Asus UL30Vt will probably use the 1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 CPU with overclocking capability, DDR3 RAM but keep the high-end aluminum shell design. With discrete graphics the battery life of the device will be reduced by at least an hour compared to the Asus UL30 laptop integrated graphics.
Currently there is no official announcement about the configuration and selling price of the device. But according to Engadget, Asus UL30Vt's retail price will not be much more expensive than the LUL30's $ 749 price. Expected models of Asus UL-series aluminum casing using power-saving microprocessor Intel CULV will be available in Vietnam market in the near future.
