The Eee Stick consists of two independent devices "Activation Stick" and "Navigatioin Stick" (Navigation control device). Both devices are connected to the Eee PC via a 2.4Ghz RF USB wireless controller. Maximum connection radius of about 10m.
In terms of features, the Eee Stick can be considered the same as the controller of the Nintendo Wii game console. The design purpose of this product is to allow users to control all activities on the game with the actual movements of the hands.
Not only that, the controller can also reproduce the vibrations in the game, counteracting the user's hands to give them a feeling of being "in the game".
The Eee Stick has 3 different control modes - including 3D Motion (3-dimensional space motion), Pointing and Titling. In 3D Motion mode, the user controls the game by moving the Eee Stick in all directions in real space to create movement in the game. Pointing is a mode designed specifically for shooting games and Titling is a mode designed specifically for speed racing games.
The manufacturer said it will sell the Eee Stick with a number of future Eee PC models. Also included is the Eee Box - a collection of games designed specifically for the Eee PC and Eee Stick.
However, the official launch time has not been officially revealed by Asus.
