The mega-aqueduct features a 110m-long steel aqueduct, which is 3.8m longer than the famous Magdeburg Aqueduct and is the longest tree line of any similar structure in the world. This is the main water supply line for the cities of Hefei and Lu'an in Anhui. To build this water bridge, Chinese engineers applied advanced welding techniques and used a variety of robots to increase construction efficiency.

In addition to the long water bridge, this super project also includes many other large-scale retail projects. Prominent among them is the Thuc Son pumping station with a total flow of 340m3 per second, which is the largest mixed flow pumping station in Asia.

The project is also interested in protecting biodiversity when the water channel is moved to the west to make space for migratory birds, many corridors are also built to create favorable conditions for migrating fish.
