The reason is because during the past 10 years, this studio has received countless accusations related to workplace harassment, discrimination.
Not long after the project was announced at The Game Awards 2021, the hashtag #blackoutstarwarseclipse immediately became popular across social networking platforms when the gaming community reacted harshly. for Quantic Dream's involvement in the development of the Star Wars Eclipse.
Recently, famous leaker Tom Henderson revealed that Quantic Dream itself is also experiencing serious problems during the project launch. And according to Henderson, Star Wars Eclipse will probably have to wait at least another 4-5 years before it can be ready for release.
The reason may come from the studio's difficulty in recruiting staff to work on the project as well as the lack of resources of Quantic Dream itself.
