Accordingly, the two versions of Vaio NW70 and 50 will use the Core 2 Duo P8700 processor clocked at 2.53 MHz, running Vista Home Premium 64bit operating system, 15.5-inch wide LCD screen, resolution resolution up to 1,366 x 768 pixels.

The new device also has 4 GB of RAM, which allows for a maximum of up to 8 GB, a 500 GB hard drive and an Office Personal 2007 software included. While NW70 version is equipped with a Blu-ray recorder, NW50 only has a Super Multi DVD player.
