- You can also initialize the remote control by using the remote computer service manager - Remote Desktop Services Manager
- Before the monitoring process starts, the server will warn users that the session is about to be remotely controlled, unless this warning is turned off.Your session may freeze for a few seconds while waiting for feedback from users. To configure remote control for users and sessions, use remote desktop configuration services (Remote Desktop Services Configuration) or remote desktop service extensions (Remote Desktop Services extensions). ) for local users and groups as well as active user folders and computers.
- Your session must be able to support the video resolution used at the session you are remote control, otherwise the operation will fail.
- The session control interface cannot control another session remotely and cannot be controlled remotely by another session.
- When you want to end the remote control (shadowing), press CTRL + * (use * from the numeric keypad).
