Samsung upgraded hardware for Chrome-based computers
Chromebox Series 3 and Chromebook Series 5 all use new processors for better performance.

According to Notebookcheck, the Korean manufacturer has just made hardware upgrades for two models of the Chromebook Series 5 and Chromebox Series 3.
Chromebox Series 3 will be using the Intel Celeron B840 processor like some other Chromebooks. In addition, Samsung intends to introduce a new version of the Chromebox Series 3 using the future Core i5-2450M chip but does not say the specific time. This product uses a 16GB SSD with 6 USB 2.0 ports. Chromebox Series 3 weight is 1.11 kg.

In particular, Chromebook Series 5 model was upgraded from Intel Atom N570 45 nm platform to Intel Celeron 867 67 nm. This helps the machine achieve better performance and heat dissipation. The screen of Chromebook Series 5 has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It also has a 16GB SSD. This model weighs about 1.5 kg and is 20 mm thin.
As expected, the Chromebox Series 3 will be sold for $ 329.99 and the Chromebook Series 5 is $ 449 and $ 549 respectively for two versions of Wi-Fi and 3G.
