Russia launched the SKAT 350M unmanned reconnaissance aircraft
Russian company Kalashnikov Concern announced that the SKAT 350M unmanned reconnaissance aircraft used by the Russian military in special military operations will debut at the Expotechnoguard exhibition in St. Petersburg.
Kalashnikov Concern's press office said on April 2: "The SKAT 350M reconnaissance drone used in the Northern Military District will make its first public appearance at the Expotechnoguard advanced technologies exhibition, held in St. Petersburg from April 3-5."
Sources said that the SKAT 350M reconnaissance aircraft has proven highly effective in special military operations.
The SKAT 350M drone was developed based on the Supercam 350 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platform. The new UAV has improved wings as well as control parts for high mechanical durability. SKAT 350M can operate day and night while capturing and holding targets in automatic mode.
SKAT 350M has a wingspan of 3.2 meters and a takeoff weight of 15 kg. The drone can fly at a maximum speed of 120 km/h with up to 120 minutes of flight time. The use of electric motors allows the UAV to operate at a distance of 100 km, with a flight ceiling of 300m - 2km.
