Qualcomm launches Snapdragon X Plus for PCs running Windows 11 ARM
Just as promised, Qualcomm today officially launched Snapdragon X Plus, a completely new processor developed specifically for Windows PCs on ARM architecture. The platform promises 'outstanding performance', optimal energy efficiency and powerful AI support across all devices.

Snapdragon X Plus (codename X1P-64-100) is currently Qualcomm's line of processor chips oriented for the popular laptop segment. This is essentially a 10-core processor based on the Oryon CPU architecture. It includes six high-performance cores and four low-power cores operating at up to 3.4GHz, combined with 42MB cache and up to 64GB LPDDR5X memory with a maximum transfer speed of 8448. MT/s.
As a product aimed at the PC AI market, Snapdragon X Plus will naturally also come with an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to handle specialized AI-related tasks. Qualcomm says this NPU can produce AI performance of up to 45 tera operations per second (TOPS, or the number of operations it can solve in a second). On the graphics side, the Adreno GPU in the Snapdragon 5K 60Hz screen.
Snapdragon X Plus is the newest member to join the Snapdragon X family. Before that there was the more powerful Snapdragon X Elite model, designed for Windows PCs. Below is a table comparing configurations of Snapdragon X processors.
