Packard Bell will conduct a recall of a laptop battery line used on its Easynote models due to a short circuit that heats the machine.
Packard Bell will conduct a recall of a laptop battery line used on its Easynote models due to a short circuit that heats the machine.
According to Packard Bell, the affected product lines include Easynote MX36, 37, 51 and 52 produced from July to December 2007. There is no information about detected electric shock or burn accidents, but Packard Bell still recommends that customers quickly change batteries and electrical outlets to be safe.
Customers can visit the PackardBell website to get help with new battery replacement from Packard Bell.
