Microsoft still pursues the dream of 'iRing'
Tim Cook laughed at "iRing" when suggested by Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White to produce the device, but it seems that Microsoft doesn't think so.
Based on a recently published patent from Microsoft, the company is working on a smart bracelet or a future ring. The Microsoft bracelet can be used as an input device or to control the cursor on a mobile device such as a tablet, smartphone, or even has a head-up display. like Google Glass.

As described, this bracelet will be able to recognize when it is worn by a user with a microprocessor on the device. Patents also describe how 'iRing' collects wireless power from neighboring devices via NFC connectivity.
Finally Microsoft noted that their bracelet will also be involved in the medical field like Apple and Samsung did on smartwatch. This bracelet will be able to measure user reactions, blood pressure, heart rate and support multi-dimensional sensor system.
Microsoft will make Apple regret it
If the application of Microsoft 's iRing idea succeeds, they will make Apple rethink what it was to laugh at it.
