The gameplay of Dream League Soccer basically allows gamers to create their dream team. You will start your football team with the name Dream FC, choose one of 9 players to be your team captain.

The rest will be random names, usually less famous players and lower stats than the captain you have chosen. You can freely change your team name, change the team's uniform color and logo.

How to control in Dream League Soccer 22

The controls in Dream League Soccer 2022 are quite simple, you only have one movement button and ABC buttons. In which A is a strong shot, B is a low and short pass, C is a high ball pass and cross.

Game modes and tournaments of Dream League Soccer 2022

You will have game modes that are Academy Division, Amateur Division, Division 4, Division 3, Division 2, Division 1, Elite Division and Legendary Division.

From the Academy Division to the Legendary Division, each tournament will have 16 teams competing in a round robin to calculate points. The top two teams in the table will be promoted directly, the four teams ranked 3rd to 6th must play a play-off with a direct elimination format to compete for promotion. The three teams ranked at the bottom of the table will be relegated (except for the Academy Division tournament).

Players will start their game with the Academy Division game mode. This mode will help you get acquainted with the game and gradually bring your club to the championship of other tournaments.

If you win a level of play, your team will face the Allstars XI of that level. Allstars Match is where the team that wins the championship after each season will have to play against the Allstars XI team (the team with the highest rated players) of that tournament and in only one match per season.

Cup matches of DLS 2022

Global Challenge Cup

All 128 teams of 8 tournaments will be divided into 32 groups, each group will have 4 teams competing in a round-robin format. The top two teams in each group will advance to the next round of the tournament. Starting from this round, it will be played in a knockout format until a champion team is found.

Cup for fixed tournament

1. Bronze Cup (Academy Division, Amateur Division)
2. Silver Cup (Division 4, Division 3)
3. Gold Cup (Division 2, Division 1)
4. Diamond Cup (Elite Division, Legendary Division)

Each two cup tournaments will have 32 teams that will compete in a knockout format until the championship is found.

International Cup

The condition to participate in the International Cup is that you must win the Legendary Division. This tournament is similar to the FIFA World Cup. The 31 regional national teams with your team will be divided into 8 groups, with 4 teams in each group.

The teams will compete against each other and the top 2 teams in each group will advance to the round of 16. In this round, a knockout will begin until a champion is found.

Allstars Cup

The condition to participate in this tournament is that the player's team must win the International Cup. There will be 7 teams with stars from each continent along with the player's team participating in the tournament. The tournament will be played in a knockout format from the quarter-finals until a champion is found.

If you win the championship in the Allstars Cup, you will play with the special team First Touch United. This is a team consisting of employees of First Touch Games studio (removed from DLS 21). If you win First Touch United, you will face your own team directly in the Ultimate Challenge (Removed from DLS 21). If you continue to win, you will return to the Legendary Division and continue your tournament cycle.
