On June 13, Microsoft issued eight security patches for vulnerabilities in Windows operating systems, Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player and Office software.
The release of this patch is still in the plan to periodically fix vulnerabilities in Microsoft products - every second Tuesday of every month.
The patches that are classified as serious in this phase are all potentially serious threats to the Windows operating system, which may allow hackers to hijack users' computers.
Microsoft also issued three "critical" patches (the second highest risk warning level) and one "medium" patch. Detailed information about the June 2006 patch is provided by Microsoft at its website.
