Microsoft announced a new logo for the Edge Chromium browser

Microsoft has just introduced a new logo template for the Fluent Design style Edge browser platform similar to the company's new Office icons. This is a necessary move by Microsoft to assert to users that Edge is now a completely new browser platform, bringing a completely different experience than the old version of Edge or Internet Explorer.

The new logo of Microsoft Edge is quite creative, with a combination of wave effects and stylized E letters, bringing a unique, modern and 'colorful' color than the previous Internet Explorer logo. Microsoft clearly wants to show users how to be innovative, dynamic, youthful and a completely new experience when they switch to the Edge Chromium version.

This new logo is an element that has appeared in a surfing game called Surf inside the latest Canary version of Edge. In it, Microsoft has posted complex clues including a series of puzzles and images combined. Players will have to assemble the Edge icon in 3D because the Obj code is hidden in the image.
