List of Cube Escape games in order
The Cube Escape series is the first game series in the Rusty Lake franchise, introducing the world of Rusty Lake. Heavily inspired by the television series Twin Peaks, the series doesn't follow a clear linear sequence, but primarily follows detective Dale Vandermeer as he investigates the death of a woman and becomes entangled in the mysterious world of Rusty Lake.
After Flash discontinued browser support, the Cube Escape Collection was released in October 2020, bringing together the original nine games. This collection allows players to experience the Cube Escape series games on Steam and Itch.io after Flash support ceased.
On some platforms, Cube Escape: The Lake was released after Cube Escape: Seasons; however, the original version was released two days earlier. The officially recommended play order is Seasons, followed by Lake.
Cube Escape: Collection includes all other Cube Escape games except Paradox, and includes achievements, hints, additional translations, and re-recorded dialogue for Dale Vandermeer with his new voice actor from Paradox.
