Laptops sold in January September

Acer and HP own the "popular" laptop rankings in Asia. In addition, models with good prices are the focus of users in the first month of 2009.

Acer became the best-selling laptop brand in the Asian market last month, with half of the 10 best-selling models being made by the Taiwanese manufacturer, including the Acer Aspire One.

10 best-selling laptops in Asia in January by Cnet magazine statistics mostly cost under $ 1,800.

1. Acer Extensa 4630G (Core 2 Duo T5800 CPU 2.0 GHz, 2 GB RAM)

Acer Extensa 4630G took the top spot this month. This is a popular laptop with a price of about 1,000 USD in Singapore market, this model has not appeared in Vietnam.

Owning Core 2 Duo processor, 320 GB hard drive and Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS graphics card. The 4630G weighs 1.4 inches and measures 14 inches.

2. Acer Aspire 4930G (Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4 GHz CPU, 4 GB RAM)

The 4930G is available at the Vietnamese school last December, this laptop has Acer's Gemstone design with new lines. The device is built on Centrino 2 platform, Core 2 Duo P8600 processor clocked at 2.4 GHz and powerful discrete NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS graphics card.

Reference price: VND 22 million.

3. Acer Aspire 2930Z (Pentium Dual-Core T3200 2.0 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM)

Accompanied by the Aspire 2930Z, Acer has occupied all of the top three top-selling laptop charts. This is considered the cheapest 12.1-inch ultraportable on the market. It uses the old Pentium Dual-Core processor but the latest Centrino 2 platform chipset. Machine has not appeared in Vietnam market, reference price in Singapore is 782 USD.

4. Compaq Presario CQ40 (2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo P7350 CPU; 2 GB RAM)

This is a cheap 14.1-inch laptop with a nice design, HP uses the Imprint proprietary painting technology to bring a new look to CQ40. It has two versions, of which the model uses cheaper AMD processors than Intel.

Reference price: 630 USD.

5. Acer Aspire 4520 (AMD Turion 64 MK 38 2.2 GHz CPU, 512 MB RAM)

For the fifth place in the ranking is for low-cost models with AMD processors, it has an integrated Nvidia GeForce 7000M graphics card, which works well for watching videos. Acer Aspire 4520 runs on Windows Vista operating system, 14.1 inch screen but RAM is only 512 MB.

6. Acer Aspire One (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1 GB RAM)

The Acer Aspire One is the best-selling netbook in 2008, this tiny laptop has a large keyboard. Besides, it also has an expandable SD card slot to increase storage capacity. The Acer Aspire One is appealing in its slim, light, fashionable design and pleasant price.

7. Compaq Presario CQ60 (Core 2 Duo P7350 CPU 2.0 GHz; 2 GB RAM)

Features 16-inch widescreen, 16: 9 aspect ratio, strong support for watching standard widescreen movies. Not only that, the device is also equipped with Nvidia Geforce 9200M GS graphics card, good game play. However, CQ60 weighs up to 1.75 kg.

8. HP Pavilion dv5 (Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU 2.26 GHz, 2 GB RAM)

Compared to most laptops in the list, the dv5 has a strong configuration, supports USB / eSATA, Blu-ray reader, fingerprint recognition and special features, beautifully designed by HP Imprint printing technology .

9. Toshiba Satellite L310 (Pentium Dual-Core T2370 1.73 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM)

After Acer and HP occupied 8 leading positions, the last two were for Toshiba and Lenovo laptops. Satellite L310 is a cheap laptop from Toshiba. It has a 14.1-inch screen, webcam, DVD recorder, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

10. Lenovo Y430 (Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU 2.26 GHz; 2 GB RAM)

The Lenovo Y430 is cheaper than the famous ThinkPad models. This is an entertainment laptop with Dolby Home Theater sound system that allows watching movies, listening to music well. It also has a nice design, face-recognition webcam allows users to login when looking through the camera of the device.
