According to Notebookcheck, Dell has just confirmed it will launch an XPS 14z laptop on November 1 in the US market.
Dell XPS 14z is equipped with a 14-inch screen with a design similar to the MacBook Pro. This product is only 2.3 cm thin, close to the size of an ultrabook. The manufacturer allows users to select either Intel Sandy Bridte Core i5 or i7 processors.
The XPS 14z has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels, a GeForce GT 520M graphics card with Optimus technology, 6GB DDR3 RAM, a backlit keyboard and a DVD burner. In addition, users can choose either SSD or HDD memory with 256GB capacity.
Dell's new device supports many impressive connections like Intel Widi, standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 3.0, HDMI, mini Display and RJ-45. The battery comes with 8-cell type which allows operation within 6 hours 42 minutes.
The product will be sold for $ 999 on Dell's online store next month. Dell XPS 14z is expected to appear in markets outside the US on November 15 afterwards.
