Jade snake snake - Beauty queen snake in Vietnam

Scientists have discovered more than 200 species of snakes with 22 species of sea snakes, 184 species of land snakes in Vietnam. In the kingdom of snakes in our country, jade fences are dubbed the beauty queen with colorful colors and patterns.

Jade solid snake is a small, quite slender water snake with the scientific name Boiga Jaspidea.This is one of the most exotic snakes in Vietnam.

Jade solid fences are favored by "mother nature" to possess a leather set with colors and patterns combined in an extremely harmonious and delicate way.

Although there are many colors on the body, the jade barrier snake does not bring a feeling of confusion due to the pattern layout and harmonious color scheme on the body.

The whole upper body of the jade barrier is red mixed with chocolate brown, interspersed with black and white spots, and a bright yellow belly.A special point is that along the jade solid body there are hidden green horizontal bars.

Those turquoise bars emerge clearly when the jade barrier solidifies the throat or other body parts to threaten the enemy, digesting the prey.

Like most other snake water species, jade barrier snake has no poison.But it is interesting to imitate some venomous snakes when they feel threatened.

When confronted with an enemy, the jade barrier solidifies its head like a cobra, even imitating the sound of other poisonous snakes to make them puzzled.Just wait for that moment, the jade barrier quickly escapes.

Jade barrier is found in tree habitats in tropical rainforest, sometimes with low shrubs.

Their food is geckos, amphibians and even smaller snakes.There is not much information about this snake yet.
