Battery of smaller iPhone 8?

Right. Although Apple says the iPhone 8 will have the same battery life as the iPhone 7, iFixit found that the new phone has a smaller Lithium-ion battery size. The battery is 6.96 hours (approximately 1822mAh) while the iPhone 7 battery is 7.45 hours (1960mAh). These numbers are exactly what Apple has told Tenaa, China's telecommunications equipment certification body.

iPhone 8 has LTE connectivity to Gigabit

Why doesn't Apple produce iPhone 8 with the fastest high-speed mobile network technology? We don't know.

But it's hard to understand that the chip inside at least some iPhones 8 is capable of doing that, technically. iFixit discovered Qualcomm X16 modem inside an iPhone 8 that can support Gigabit LTE and Qualcomm WTR5975 RF combination chip designed to use Gigabit LTE.

Does that mean the iPhone 8 will be updated to support Gigabit LTE? Not sure yet. Especially, as rumored and as Apple did before, some iPhones use Intel chips instead of Qualcomm. (intel does not have a modem that supports Gigabit LTE).

If the mirror behind is broken, it will be difficult to replace

iFiXit took a long time to depend on the iPhone 8 back glass, using a knife and prying it on the metal layer a bit.
