New wireless charging and accessories will be included on iPhone 12.

Apple introduced MagSafe, an accessory for wireless charging and added many new accessories for the iPhone. Apple adds a magnet ring in the iPhone 12 so it attaches securely to accessories like the new wireless charger. Apple's new wireless charger has a capacity of 15W, attaches firmly to the back of the iPhone, and there is an additional charge for the Apple Watch.

With a back that can be attached to a magnet, Apple expects third-party manufacturers to have accessories to attach to the back of the iPhone 12 - a small leather wallet, for example.
