HP launches AI PC with a unique keyboard integrated into it.
At CES 2026, HP introduced a completely new type of AI PC, which the company described as its most compact and lightweight AI PC to date.
The product, called the HP EliteBoard G1a , is also the world's first complete AI PC integrated directly into a keyboard . The device boasts an ultra-slim design of just 12 mm, weighs approximately 750 grams – less than half the weight of a typical laptop – and is geared towards a clean, minimalist workspace, connecting to any external monitor.
Despite its compact size, the EliteBoard G1a is fully equipped with dual speakers and microphones, while delivering desktop-level AI performance. It supports up to 64GB of RAM and SSDs up to 2TB. Its AI power comes from the AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor , providing over 50 TOPS of NPU performance.
HP states that technologies such as HP Smart Sense, AMD Auto State Management, and an optional 32 Whr integrated battery (providing approximately 3.5 hours of use) automatically optimize performance, heat dissipation, and power consumption. As a result, the EliteBoard G1a fully meets the standards of a Copilot+ PC , despite being housed in the form of a keyboard.
The HP EliteBoard G1a AI PC is expected to begin pre-orders in March, while the specific price will be announced closer to the release date.
Guayente Sanmartin, Senior Vice President and President of HP's Commercial Systems & Displays Solutions division, shared that the way people work is changing rapidly – from the workplace and working methods to the tools needed to maintain productivity. According to him, HP's goal is to remove the barriers and complexities that slow users down, while transforming AI from a novel concept into a real advantage. The EliteBoard G1a achieves this by bringing next-generation AI power directly to the device, in a compact, keyboard-like form factor that fits the modern work pace.
Alongside the EliteBoard G1a, HP also announced the HP Series 7 Pro 4K monitor . This monitor uses an IPS Black panel combined with 4K resolution and Neo:LED backlighting, offering higher contrast and better black levels compared to traditional IPS. The monitor is factory color-calibrated, targeting professional users, and also supports the creation of custom color profiles for various workflows.
In terms of connectivity, the HP Series 7 Pro 4K is equipped with Thunderbolt 4, offering 40 Gbps bandwidth and up to 140 W of power, allowing for the transmission of power, data, and images using only a single cable.
The HP Series 7 Pro 4K Monitor will also be available in March, and pricing will be announced later.
