The boys from The Slow Mo Guys, the YouTube channel for making super-slow movies, gave the answer in a video explaining the technology behind old TVs to their modern computer screens.
Technology to create images on TV screens is a miracle for people. Motion pictures created by green, red, and blue lights change continuously through pixels. In fact, that movement is created by dozens of frames even hundreds of frames in 1 second creating illusions.
So what if you play 'Super Mario' on TV at 380,000 frames per second?
The boys from The Slow Mo Guys, the YouTube channel for making super-slow movies, gave the answer in a video explaining the technology behind old TVs to their modern computer screens.
With the high-speed camcorder, The Slow Mo Guys recorded the close-up when playing 'Super Mario' at 380,000 frames per second. It was so slow, that we could see nothing but the scanline lines that created the image, the beams of light slowly sweeping from top to bottom. And of course with this speed, we won't be able to play anything.
