3G Internet is provided by the network providers divided into two basic services, namely, access services on mobile phones (Mobile Internet) and Internet access services on laptops thanks to the 3G USB terminal ( Mobile Broadband - MB).

It can be said that the two services provided by businesses are not much different in connection method as well as the speed achieved when using the service. The biggest difference of the two services is the terminal for Internet access.

Quite true to the name of the service, Mobile Internet is used by customers right on the phone with integrated 3G features. As for MB, in addition to the SIM phone that has integrated service features, customers also need a USB and a laptop.

The price of the two services is also different, however, basically, the calculation method still follows the specific package or calculated according to the usage capacity.

If Mobile Broadband, the target customers are mainly postpaid subscribers, Mobile Internet seems more suitable for prepaid customers. Currently, MB service is provided by three VinaPhone businesses (service name is Mobile Broadband); MobiFone (service name is Fast Connect) and Viettel (D-com 3G) have relatively similar rates, averaging about VND50-VND60 / MB, equivalent to about VND50,000-VND60,000 / GB.

It can be said that the customer object that enterprises providing services for MB services are mostly postpaid users. If there is a need to use basic Internet services, MB can even replace an ADSL line but you can still get quite a large amount of service usage and fast speed.

In theory, indeed, there is a package if using MB is also much cheaper than equivalent ADSL service packages. For example, registering to use U30 package with a duration of 30 days, user capacity will be up to 3GB / month. Compared to ADSL packages that Internet businesses currently offer, the cost is much lower.

However, if the customer only needs to go online, surf the web, listen to music online at a moderate level, the package completely meets. But beyond that, watching movies online often or receiving, downloading with large capacity, currently, the packages of MB are not really satisfied. Add that is a pretty big extra charge that customers have to spend, sometimes up to millions. Therefore, using MB service, it is necessary to consider package according to its needs.

Mobile Internet: be careful not to exceed the package!

With this service, network operators now have each package for users to choose. However, even if you have selected the package, many times, customers will still be paid more because they have exceeded the allowed capacity of the registered user. Excessive package charge is much higher than the registered fee.

Determining that I used the capacity to exceed the registration package is not known to all customers the first time I use the service. It is often when you 'stick' an extra payment to ask and pay attention.

In order to be able to use the capacity within the limit of the registered package, it is best for customers to regularly review the upload and download capacity used after each use of the service.

If you find that the volume you have used exceeds the license package, you should immediately cancel the package before the deadline. Then register this package again. As such, you will avoid the network fee for over-charging for the generated capacity.
