How to unlock Casper air conditioner remote control

A locked Casper air conditioner control will prevent you from making adjustments to the air conditioner from the control. The cause of the air conditioner controller being locked may be due to the user pressing the wrong button or the control button being confused, or children playing with it. 1. Signs that the Casper air conditioner control is locked

If the Casper air conditioner controller has one of the following problems, your Casper air conditioner may be locked.

1. The control screen has a lock icon.
2. The control screen displays the word 'child lock', which means your Casper air conditioner is in lock mode to avoid naughty children.
3. The remote still displays numbers but cannot press on/off.
4. Cannot increase/decrease temperature and other functions.

2. How to unlock the Casper air conditioner controller

For older Casper remotes

Simultaneously press the 2 up and down arrow buttons on the word SET or the plus (+) and minus (-) signs depending on the symbol of each control type. After holding for about 1 second, the control will be unlocked immediately.

For new Casper remotes from 2021 to present

Model HC - LC series: Press the horizontal and vertical air swing buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds to unlock the Casper air conditioner control.

Models IC and KC: Press the TURBO and SELF CLEAN buttons at the same time within 1 second.

 Note:

Casper's SC, GC, MC air conditioner lines do not have the control lock function. If your home's controller or air conditioner has problems and you need to contact a professional air conditioning repair shop and repairman.
