How to sign up for an eBay account

The 'big man' in the field of online buying and selling is eBay has officially entered the Vietnamese market, opening new trade opportunities for businesses and individuals. It only takes a few minutes to register for an eBay account and start an online business.

eBay divides 2 main subjects: buyer (buyer) and seller (seller). However, when using a buyer account, you can still advertise your sales or vice versa.

Registering for an eBay account is completely free and also divided into two types of accounts: personal (invidual) and business (business). However, for both types of accounts, owners still have to enter credit card parameters for eBay to confirm information.

Your Personal Information : This section needs to fill in information about the individual who owns the account.

- First Name : Name

- State / Province / Region : enter the province and district name.

- Email Address / re-enter Email address : enter your email address and type again.
- Your Username ID and Password : enter account registration information.
- Create an eBay User ID : set an arbitrary account name. Example: tuoitreonline-ebay
- Create password & re-enter password : Create a password for the account.
- Secret question & Secret answer : This is a private question. You should note this section because it decides to restore the account, password when lost. Select the questions in the 'question' section and fill in the answer 'answer' yourself.
- Date of birth : date of birth.

Next, the information you need to fill in is the credit card number. Please note that your credit card must be an international credit card such as Visa, Mastercard . Although registration is free, eBay needs this information to clearly identify user information.

Supported credit cards are: Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Enter the serial number, both the Card Identification Number and the expiry date. As for Cardholder information , eBay retains the previously registered information but you should correct the credit card information to end the user identification.

Finally, eBay will send an email that has registered an account that requires an account activation. You need to open this email and proceed with activation by clicking on the link and completing the registration.

If an account is used for long-term purposes, be careful. You should also be aware of phishing or scamming (*) for eBay users that are quite popular today. Buying an auction is not familiar to Vietnamese users, so the next thing is to read a lot of eBay-related documents before officially buying or selling goods.
