How to prevent others from finding your Zalo with just your phone number

Just by entering a phone number, it is easy to find a person's Zalo account. But not everyone wants others to find them in such a public way.

By default, the Zalo chat application allows others to find your account by entering your phone number in the search box. If you do not want that to happen, Zalo users on smartphones can set up security by following these steps:

Step 1: Click on "Personal" in the lower right corner of the main interface.

Step 2:  Select "Manage search and friend sources" under "Search and friend sources".

Step 3: Option to enable or disable the feature "Allow strangers to find and make friends via phone number".

In addition, Zalo users can also optionally turn on/off the feature that allows strangers to make friends through the following sources: QR Code, Public Group, Zalo Business Card or "You May Know" Suggestion.
