Select "Instant-On Power Mode. " This mode will keep your Xbox One on standby and complete downloads after you turn it off.
Xbox 360
Complete any downloads you started before shutting down your computer in "Low-Power" mode. Xbox 360 can only complete downloads that you started while the system was open. This feature is enabled automatically, so if you start a download and then turn off your Xbox, the game will continue to download afterward.
The next steps detail how to enable low power mode if you think the feature is disabled.
Tap the middle X button and select "Settings. " You can do this on any screen.
Select "Systems Settings" then select "Console Settings". From here, you can proceed or change the power settings.
Go to "Background Downloads" and check to make sure these processes are enabled. You can find it in the "Startup and Shutdown" section of the settings. So the download progress will be maintained.
